The foam fight! |
Me and Susana, our brother did not come. |
Lots of people watching and taking photos. It was very controlled though, notice the gate shut that is never shut. |
It took place in the (St. Salvator quad or Salls quad or the quad). |
Last years class gift was 200 cans of foam to people as they came in- under the arch of the clock tower. |
The exit, there was only one way in and one way- another way- out. |
First aid station on the way out. I think all they had was paper towels for eyes and whatnot. |
Next to the first aid station and exit, nice but very cold water! |
Me and my "mom." It was cool that right after you left all the 3rd and 4th years were lining the path for you to leave the area!!! Like I said I did not realize how much this was a rite of passage. The Kate Kennedy clue was handing out hot drinks and had a few actual towels to wipe our hands on. |
The exit exit, to the street. Now I am in the library area, right next to the quad- separated by like a 10 foot walk-though cut out of a building. |
The police were stopping traffic for us. You can see all the students waiting for the first years to come out of the foam fight. |
The end of Raisin weekend. I got in the shower after this picture. I walked the 20-30 minuets back to DRA, I did not think a bus would let me in and I did not have enough money for a taxi, plus I think they charge you 40 pounds for messing up the taxi. |

Raisin was awesome. However, I did not realized that it was one big hazing and then rite of passage. That is fine except, I am not actually a first year, I am not going to graduate from here, and I do not get to do it to someone else in a few years, which is what hazing is all about.
