reading week pics continued

This MIGHT be part of the 2012 Olympic site.

I took a coach bus from the airport to Liverpool Street station; it took over an hour or hour and a half. Then I took the Tube to Kings Cross station on this train.
In case you are not from the UK.

Clink78. My hostel the first night in London. The stairs in the background lead up to the girls part.

My room. I had the top bunk to the right.

The computer room. It was the court room. There was only wi-fi on the ground floor. I was surprised on this trip of just how many places I had to pay for wi-fi.

The lobby. I was very impressed when I walked it. This was taken the morning after I arrived, as noted by all the sheets. When you check out you have to put your sheet in the bin and give back your room key. In both hostels I stayed at, you had to swipe your room key to get to the sleeping area of the hostels. Then again, to get in your room.

The Hostel. I read a sign that said you sitting or smoking on the steeps or in front of the hostel. I guess it is not an enforced rule. (Before I knew the rule,  I sat on the steps last night and ate an ice cream).

My hotel the 2nd night. I could not find another hostel I wanted to stay at the 2nd night. Plus, I thought I would treat myself on the last night. I found this hotel online, it was half price and 4 stars.
My room. I felt like it was a room on a boat. And, in fact the bed was not much nicer then the hostels I stayed at. But, it was nice to have my own room again and internet in my room. For the first time in 2 months I used a channel changer.

Liberty. A store off Regent Street. I remember shopping at this store with my mom (and my cousins), more then 10 years ago.

The city is getting pumped up that they are hosting the Olympics very soon.

I have never seen a bird like this- with its eye circles. There were lots of birds in this park that I had never seen before. The park was across the street from the Churchill War Rooms and the Horse Guard's place, on Horse Guards Road.
